We were warmly welcomed on a damp and dismal day. Offered a choice of rooms and the one we chose was large, well furnished and very clean. There was ample lighting, including good bedside lamps which is not always the case. The refreshment tray was very well stocked with a large selection of beverages and biscuits. The wet room was large with plenty of towels and toiletries. The breakfast, in the attractive dining room, was freshly cooked to order and excellent with plenty of choice. Would stay here again if in the area and definitely recommend.

Owner and host, Fiona is very welcoming. Nice room and comfortable beds. We were 3 friends travelling together and were able to have a room with 3 single beds. There were nice touches in the room such as bottled water and biscuits to go with the tea and coffee selection. Great breakfast that is cooked to order with lots of choice, in a lovely little dining room. Very conveniently located for a walk into Axminster and a drive to surrounding places of interest.

Because the B&B was not full we (a couple) had a large family room. They provided generous tea/coffee, biscuits, chocolates, milk - enough for a large family. Breakfast was excellent (eg porridge with whisky in a cut glass whisky glass). Hostess was charming and informative. Although Axminster may not be an obvious destination it is very well situated for getting to Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and many other charming towns and villages along and away from the coast.

Great beautiful tradition house. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and the little eggs for Easter were a lovely touch. I liked the organised feel with the labels and notes. Plastic free cosmetics in the bathrooms and tea facilities (but we didn’t use them). We felt v taken care of and enjoyed meeting the boisterous “puppy” but the owner took care to keep her away from my son who doesn’t like dogs.

We travelled for a family birthday with our elderly mother. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was immaculate and our Mum has not stopped talking about what a wonderful weekend we have had!! Thank you for helping us to make wonderful memories!! Florence was the star of the show!!!!
